June's favorite book is Run, Turkey, Run! It's about a turkey who narrowly escapes being eaten for Thanksgiving dinner.
The other day I made myself a turkey sandwich for lunch. June was sitting at the bar watching me. Just as I was about to take my first bite she got a joking smile on her face and said, "Run, Turkey, Run!"
