Ever the Mother

June is rarely seen without a baby doll. She is a natural mother and is always making sure her babies get to participate in whatever she's doing.

She takes her babies on walks.

She gives them shoulder rides.

They "ride horses" with her.

They go potty.

They bake bread with Mommy.

She tucks them into bed.

She even disciplines them. It isn't uncommon to find her baby sitting all alone somewhere and to hear June explain, "Baby have go timeout because baby being mean."

If there's one thing she likes more than her baby dolls, it's her real baby: Ross!

She is so good with him. When he wakes up she climbs into his crib and chants, "Don't cry, Mommy coming," while I make him a bottle. She watched him the other day while I went to track down our run-away goat. When I got back she had him smiling and cooing.

Heck, she's so good I might as well hand over the reigns to her and go on vacation!
