June is a brave little kid, at least she used to be before we sent her through the haunted house at Lagoon. Um, what were we thinking?!?
Before that she always talked about "ghost-es" and "wolf-es" and told Avery not to be scared cause she'd protect her, so we thought she'd be fine. Actually, we thought she'd love it! Wrong!
She came out crying and hasn't been the same ever since, especially at bedtime. Now she always prays to not be scared and wants one of us to lay next to her til she falls asleep. Poor little girl!
A couple days ago she was saying her morning prayers and said, "Thanks for Jesus laying next to me."
Hmmm...He just might have done.
